ASSESMENT #1 BLOG POST

My Blog is made up of several links to sites that interest me, pictures I love, photo's of my own and funny things that I have come across. I have tried to make my Blog a profile reflecting my interests, giving all who look at it an overall look at me and what I surround myself with. I found this hard to do at the begginning... being totally unfamiliar with blogging and found it a little scary showing others, sometimes strangers, a bit about myself. I have also created a Del.icio.us and Flickr account which is linked to my blog and creates a network for all three sites. On my Flickr site I have tried to put a range of photo's of my friends, family, uni work and photo's I have found that I love. I have found Flickr to be a great way of exploring photography and finding images of just about anything. On my Del.icio.us account I have bookmarked sites that I love and tend to look at a lot, hoping others will like them as well. I found Del.icio.us hard to use at first and was't sure of it's purpose, but it is a very handy tool and makes using the internet a much more enjoyable experience. I am actually quite shocked at the amount of items and people you can find on the internet... while some things are boring and pointless, others are great and I have spent many hours exploring the great stuff!
